Keep the candle wick(s) trimmed to ¼ inch. The longer your wick is, the larger your flame will be, and the more quickly the max will melt away.
Always burn your re.verre candle for 2-4 hours at a time (depending on candle size) to ensure the wax melts to the edge of the vessel. This will prevent your candle from 'tunnelling' and leaving a ring of un-melted wax inside the container. Melted wax releases your candle's scent, so a long burn will also maximize your candle's scent throw.
When ¼ inch of wax remains, discontinue use to prevent heat damage to the vessel.

We make all re.verre candles from American Organic's high-quality Freedom soy wax. It's 100% natural, non-toxic, and much better for the environment than other, more common waxes such as paraffin or soy wax blends. Soy wax also burns more slowly than other waxes, to give you a longer-lasting candle.
Variations in both color and texture of soy wax are common due to its natural characteristics, so don't worry if your candle is off-white or isn't 100% smooth. It's a sign that you've purchased a natural product.
We use quality flat braided high-tension paper (HTP) wicks in our candles. They're made from all-natural fibres, including cotton and paper, and are clean-burning with a more efficient flame than other wick types.
Yes. We carefully select our fragrance oils to ensure they are all phthalate-free and candle safe. Find out more about phthalates here.
Re.verre is a vegan-owned business; all of our candles are plant-based and vegan-friendly.
Because the size and shape of each re.verre candle is different, we can only provide an estimate of burn time. If you keep your candle's wick(s) trimmed to ¼ inch and burn it for 2-4 hours at a time, a smaller 1-2 wick (6-7 oz.) candle will last approximately 40 hours, and a larger (12-14 oz.) 3-4 Wick candle will last around 55 hours.
Place your candle vessel in a warm oven (at around 140 degrees Fahrenheit) until the wax melts. Carefully remove it from the oven and once the wax has cooled to a safe temperature, wipe out the wax with a paper towel. Compost the paper and wax and clean the vessel in hot, soapy water, ready for re-use.
